RockPro I: Introductory Teen Rock Climbing Camp

  Who’s it for? Someone just getting into rock climbing or just starting to progress their skills.

  What do we learn? Lots of climbing, movement coaching, basics of belaying and rappelling, teamwork, self confidence.

  Where do we go? Primarily in Acadia National Park with one camp in New Hampshire each season.

RockPro II: Intermediate Teen Rock Climbing Camp

  Who’s it for? Someone just getting into rock climbing or just starting to progress their skills.

  What do we learn? Additional belay and rappel skills, more in-depth coaching on a variety of climbs, constructing natural anchor systems using trees and boulders, constructing anchors using artificial gear.

  Where do we go? Primarily in Acadia National Park with one camp in New Hampshire each season.

RockPro III: Teen Sport Climbing Camp

  Who’s it for? A climber age 13-18.Climbers looking to learn about sport climbing or transitioning for gym to crag. Should be capable of climbing 5.9 routes.

  What do we learn? Introduction to lead climbing on bolt protected routes, focus on improving climbing techniques in steep climbs, transition from climbing to descending from fixed anchors. Led by AMGA Rock Guide course graduate or higher level.

  Where do we go? We have a trip to each Kamouraska, Quebec and Rumney, NH.

RockPro IV: Advanced Teen Rock Climbing Camp

  Who’s it for? A climber age 13-18. A graduate of RockPro II or III or equivalent skills often gained by climbing with adult partners. Climber can belay and rappel comfortably without guidance and is able to build top rope anchors.

  What do we learn? Climbers will develop advanced anchoring, belaying, and climbing skills along with the basics of partner rescue. Led by AMGA rock course graduate or higher.

  Where do we go? North Conway region of NH, Acadia National Park, and Clifton, ME.

  Who’s it for? For the rock stars ages 9-12 who have taken an interest in climbing and like to get off the ground.

Young Explorers Youth Outdoor Adventure Camp

  Who’s it for? Explorers age 9-12 who like doing cool things outside and are ready to start spending a day away from family. 

  What do we do? Rock climbing, hiking, swimming, canoeing, paddleboarding, rappelling, rope bridge crossing, knots, caving, hiking, swimming, survival skills, and/or nature study.

Scholarships

A limited number of partial scholarships are available. Please email climb@acadiamountainguides.com for scholarship information. Scholarships are not awarded until a month before the camp starts.
