Zach grew up in Delaware and found a love of the outdoors in the state parks near his house and on backpacking trips to the crags of the Appalachian Trail.

Zach studied business and economics, at Keene State College, where he discovered his passion for rock climbing, ice climbing, and split-boarding in the mountains of New England. During his time at Keene, he founded the KSC Outing Club, playing many roles along the way – all with the goal of helping Keene students find and nurture their sense adventure.

After working with AMG through the outing club throughout 2023,  Zach worked for AMG as a single pitch and summer camp trip leader intern during the summer of 2024. He loved it so much that he decided to come back and continue guiding for AMG.

Zach has lead trips throughout New Hampshire in the White Mountains, as well as in Acadia, Western Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts, and particularly loves adventure climbing. When Zach isn’t guiding or climbing, you might find him (still hanging from a rope) taking climbing photos and videos, or deep in an adventure book.
