Rental Equipment
ATTENTION!
Our rental bookings are currently paused until Friday, May 15th. We are changing platforms and will begin to accept new bookings after that date. Our pricing tables will also be subject to change up until that date has passed. All pre-existing bookings will be honored and kept at the price they were booked under.
Our new booking process will improve the ease of bookings and reduce prices of overnight bookngs by charging a “per night” fee rather than a “per day” fee for equipment like sleeping bags, tents, and sleeping pads.
POLICIES
- Full Payment is due at the time of registration.
- 100% of the deposit is refundable if cancellation is made, and the rental is never picked up. Must communicate that rental is no longer needed for the refund to apply.
- Upon pick-up, you should inspect the equipment thoroughly, ask questions, and if necessary, request an equipment operation demonstration. If rental equipment is returned in a damaged or excessively dirty condition, the renter will be responsible for labor, cleaning, and repair costs proportional to services required. Replacement cost for lost, stolen, or destroyed rental equipment is at full value.
- No refunds will be made due to poor weather or road conditions, equipment returned early, or equipment not used.
- Rentals are priced per day, must be returned within store hours, and within the reservation duration.
- Example: A one day rental must be returned within store hours the same day it was picked up.
- Late returns are subject to a daily fee + 25% for each overdue day.

Our Bangor shop is CLOSED ON SUNDAY year round.
If you are picking up or dropping off a rental on a Sunday,
then it must be done at our Bar Harbor location.
