Philip Lynch

Guiding Since 2021

Philip’s passion for the outdoors was sparked early on in his life and further ignited during his time at Clarkson University. Immersing himself in the school’s outing club, he embraced pursuits like rock climbing, ice climbing, and backcountry skiing. Between semesters, Philip pursued a NOLS course and personal expeditions, continuously refining his outdoor skills and nurturing his desire to inspire others through shared experiences.

Philip has a climbing resume rooted mainly in the Northeast and New England, but has also branched out to climb in the Western US as well. Not only does philip appreciate these areas for the climbing, he also holds a deep appreciation for the ecological richness of these regions, enhancing his outdoor pursuits with a profound understanding of the natural environment.

When Philip isn’t climbing you can find him skiing, cycling, or at home listening to his eclectic record collection.
